How long your hair needs to be

About a quarter inch, about two to three weeks of growth. If it's shorter, the wax can't grip it, so avoid shaving in the weeks before.

What it feels like

Honestly, it stings a little — it's wax. A sharp moment as the hair lifts, then it passes, and it gets easier every time.

How long it lasts

About three to four weeks. Waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth follows your natural cycle instead of stubble.

Before your appointment

Let the hair grow to about a quarter inch. Gently exfoliate a day or two beforehand. Pause retinoids or strong actives on the area for several days. Let us know if skin is sunburned or broken, and we'll reschedule that area.

After your appointment

For a day or two, skip hot tubs, saunas, intense workouts, and direct sun. After a few days, exfoliate gently and moisturize to keep skin smooth and prevent ingrown hairs. Loose clothing helps after a bikini or Brazilian.

How much is a Brazilian wax at Mysa?

A Brazilian is $90 for a 30-minute appointment, offered to female clients. A standard bikini is $40, extended is $60.

How long does a wax last?

Bikini wax vs. Brazilian?

A bikini tidies outside the underwear line; an extended bikini removes more from the sides and top; a Brazilian removes all or nearly all, front to back. $40 / $60 / $90.
